There are many activities for children near Four Fields Farm.
The most popular activity for children is playing in the large, fenced-in yard.
We provide a fire pit and firewood for grilling marshmallows and constructing smores.
Kids love going down into the Luray Caverns. There are some other kid friendly attractions at Luray that are part of the cavern complex, including a car museum. In Luray, about 35-minute drive.
We are very close to the Shenandoah National Park, with Skyline Drive, and lots of hikes, while also fun to drive and admire the views on Skyline Drive. There are also restaurants and gift shops at interesting points along Skyline Drive. Rangers have many nature programs for kids at Big Meadows Visitors Center.
Graves Mountain Lodge, has a trout pond, with the ability to rent fishing equipment. In Syria, a 10-minute drive.
At The Country Store on Route 29 south of Culpeper, there are paddle boats on a beautiful pond, fun snacks, full-service deli, and hand-dipped ice cream. In Culpeper, about 25-minute drive.
At Yoder’s Country Market, there is a petting zoo, interesting snacks, full-service deli, and hand-dipped ice cream. In Madison, a 20-minute drive.
On Main St in Culpeper, there is a toy store and a candy store. Main St is a lovely stroll with lots of cute shops and some nice restaurants. In Culpeper, about a 30-minute drive.
In Page County, there is Arrowhead Lake Park. It has a small beach for swimming. Near Luray, about a 30-minute drive.
Also in Page County, there is a rafting company that guides down the Shenandoah River.
Near the middle school in Madison, there is a large parks and recreation area that has swings, baseball fields, walking trails, etc.
